We collect information you provide directly: account details, identity documents, student application data, payment information, and communications with our team.

We also collect technical data automatically: IP address, browser, device, and usage patterns.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate, and improve the Platform
  • To process student applications and communicate with universities
  • To manage payments, top-ups, and star-tier qualification
  • To send service updates, scholarship news, and event invitations
  • To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Use

3. Sharing

We share student application data only with the universities to which the application is being submitted. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

We may share data with service providers (payment processors, cloud hosting, email delivery) under strict confidentiality agreements.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest), access controls, and regular security audits to protect your data.

5. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your home country, including China where our headquarters are located. We comply with applicable cross-border data transfer regulations.

6. Your Rights

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data through your account settings, or by contacting us at privacy@studybridge.example.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and analytics cookies to understand usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

8. Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Application data is retained for 7 years for regulatory and audit purposes.

9. Children

The Platform is not intended for children under 13. Students under 18 may have applications submitted on their behalf by registered agents and parents/guardians.
